Greetings MND Families,
We have just completed the current school year and yet we are already saying….Welcome to the 2026 – 2027 school year! We are enjoying the slower pace of summer at MND and yet we are already excited to welcome back the heart and soul of our building – our faculty and students! We are counting the days until their arrival in August!
We are looking forward to a school year focused on Hallmark #1: We proclaim by our lives even more than by our words that God is good. The theme for the school year will be Radiate God’s Goodness and it is inspired by the scripture verse, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16. We are excited to bring this Hallmark and theme to life in our interactions with each other inside the MND community and as we share our sisterhood with the broader community.
MND would like to use this summer communication as an opportunity to announce our newest faculty and staff members so that their names can become familiar to you. We welcome…

- Mrs. Maria Ushupun, Spanish and French Teacher
- Congratulations to Mrs. Cassidy Miller Newport ’11 from our Academic Support Department who will be serving as Department Chairperson. Mrs. Michelle Pachuk will remain on staff and we thank her for her leadership.
- Also, as a reminder, over the summer Mrs. Theresa Lingardo Hale ’10 will be shifting into a new position, Director of Student Activities and Leadership. Mrs. Hale will also have several other administrative duties that will round out her full-time role with us. Our new Assistant Principal for Student Development will be announced soon.
- As of the writing of this, there are still a few positions being finalized.
As we have in the past, MND is digitally delivering the new school year documents. This page provides these important documents. Please take time to read each carefully. As any new documents are posted, families will be notified, and those updates will be clearly noted on this page. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Theresa Hale at thale@mndhs.org and she will be able to help you or direct your question to the appropriate employee.
As a reminder, all families should be updating FinalForms starting on June 5 for our summer data review. This process is required in order to pick-up or receive the Tablet PC. New families will attend an Orientation and Tablet PC Meeting. Returning student Tablet PC pick-up begins on Monday, June 22 – provided that the FinalForms update is complete, all accounts are current at MND and a student’s Tablet PC is not out for repair.
To our newest MND families, we extend a most special welcome. We are excited to begin the journey with you! And for all of our families, I will keep you each in my prayers as we enjoy the summer weeks before our new school year begins.
