2023-2024 School Year Information

Greetings MND Families,

Welcome to the 2023 – 2024 school year! We are looking forward to a school year focused on Hallmark #2: We honor the dignity and sacredness of each person, and Hallmark #5: We embrace the gift of diversity. The theme for the year will be “Wonderfully Made” and we are excited to explore the many ways that our unique gifts as children of God bless our community, our work and each other. We are enjoying the slower pace of summer and yet we are already excited to welcome back the heart and soul of our building – our faculty and students! We are counting the days until their arrival in August!

MND would like to use this summer communication as an opportunity to announce our newest faculty and staff members since last year so that their names can become familiar to you. We welcome…

At the writing of this letter, there are still a few positions being finalized. Updates will be provided.

Several returning faculty have also shifted roles:

Mrs. Molly Rauch who still works part-time as our Librarian is now also an English teacher.
Mrs. Kathy Kohl, former Campus Minister for Retreats, is now a full-time Religion teacher.
Mrs. Cathy Schildknecht teaches Social Studies and will be helping as our Discipline Records Coordinator.
In addition to teaching Spanish, Mrs. Anita Sinitean will now serve as our Athletic Compliance Coordinator.

Additionally, one returning MND faculty member will have a name change due to her summer wedding. MND School Counselor, Ms. Emily Neubauer is now Mrs. Emily Mann. Congratulations! And, finally, we are very excited to welcome back Sr. Ruth Bedinghaus, SNDdeN as a part-time para-professional and volunteer.

Once again MND is digitally delivering the summer documents. The link below takes you to important school year information. Please take time to read each carefully. As any new documents are posted, families will be notified and those updates will be clearly noted on the page. To our newest MND families, we extend a most special welcome. We are excited to begin the journey with you! And for all of our families, I will keep you each in my prayers as we enjoy the remaining summer weeks before our new school year begins.
