Greetings MND Families,
Welcome to the 2024 – 2025 school year! We are enjoying the slower pace of summer and yet we are already excited to welcome back the heart and soul of our building – our faculty and students! We are counting the days until their arrival in August!
We are looking forward to a school year focused on Hallmark #3: We educate for and act on behalf of justice, peace, and care for all creation” and Hallmark #6: We create community among those with whom we work and with those whom we serve. The theme for the school year will be “Do Justice. Love Goodness. Walk Humbly With God.” (From Micah 6:8). We are excited to bring these Hallmarks to life in our interactions with each other inside the MND community and as we share our sisterhood with the broader community.
MND would like to use this summer communication as an opportunity to announce our newest faculty and staff members so that their names can become familiar to you. We welcome…

As of the writing of this letter, there are still a few positions being finalized. Updates will be provided.
Several returning faculty have also shifted roles:
- Mrs. Molly Rauch is returning to being our part-time Librarian (not teaching English this year).
- Mrs. Kelly Enochs, Mathematics Teacher is now working also with Technology Coaching for Faculty.
- Ms. Melanie Heldman, Science Teacher, is now also our Spirit & Student Activities Coordinator.
As we have over the past few years, MND is digitally delivering the new school year documents. This page provides these important documents. Please take time to read each carefully. As any new documents are posted, families will be notified, and those updates will be clearly noted on this page. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Teresa Walters at twalters@mndhs.org and she will be able to help you or direct your question to the appropriate employee.
As a reminder, all families should be updating FinalForms for our summer data review. This process is required in order to pick-up or receive the Tablet PC. New families will attend an Orientation and Tablet PC Meeting. Returning student Tablet PC pick-up begins on Monday, July 8. Full details for returning families can be found HERE.
To our newest MND families, we extend a most special welcome. We are excited to begin the journey with you! And for all of our families, I will keep you each in my prayers as we enjoy the remaining summer weeks before our new school year begins.
